Case study 1 “Limehouse Makeover”

This garden was a low budget ‘makeover' that was completed by our team in an amazing 3 days.
The problems are evident from these photographs, there was very little to work with apart from a couple of lovely bamboo plants, an Australian tree fern and a covering of gravel.
The clients were a married couple with the lady being from New Zealand. She hankered for a space to entertain and to remind her a little bit of home.
Our solution was to divide the garden in to areas to create a social space for summer barbecues. The kitchen leads directly onto a teak deck with a built in storage bench and plenty of room for a large table and chairs. Over a small lawn is the secondary seating area perfect for a bistro table and chairs, then there is another lawn with raised sleeper beds perfect for perching on during the summer months.
The planting will develop over time with the use of architectural specimen plants, hot colours and grasses. In a couple of years the beds will mature and be jam packed offering a sense of seclusion calm within the space.
